Who we are
Much A-Brew About Nothing is a community coffee shop run by The Complete Works Charity - a sanctuary from city life, where you can relax, connect with your neighbours, and enjoy some of the best coffee around. Every brew and bite helps support the work of TCW, empowering young people to thrive against the odds.
The Charity
The Complete Works began in 1999 as a theatre-in-education company, reimagining Shakespeare plays in schools across London. Over the years, we evolved into an education charity and alternative school, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. We work with young people who don’t fit the mould of mainstream education and might otherwise be overlooked by the system. Through our unique blend of creative learning and tailored wellbeing programmes, we’ve helped thousands of young people to rediscover their confidence, gain valuable qualifications, and grow into successful, happy adults.
Our Students
Young people from The Complete Works are part of our team here at Much A-Brew. Guided by experienced mentors, they’re learning what it takes to run a real business, developing workplace experience, customer service skills, and the confidence to bridge the gap between education and employment.
Much A-Brew About Nothing
Our name is a nod to our Shakespearean roots and a playful reminder that sometimes, we all need to pause, share a brew, and have a natter about nothing at all.
